The hosting providers work with two well-known operating system: Windows and Linux. Both are very good but there are some differences between them.
The first difference is in installation. The easy way is to install application in Linux because the root access is provided in Linux. But Linux doesn’t support applications like MS SQL, asp, asp.net because they are Windows applications. So, Linux is not compatible with Windows in some cases.
